Part I Chapter 5
Sec. 5.1. Compensation.
The council shall consist of six (6) members elected as provided in chapter 3. They shall receive as compensation for their services as members of the council a sum not to exceed six thousand dollars ($6,000.00) per year each. It shall be lawful for the council to increase the amount of such compensation provided the increase does not become effective until the end of the council term then current.

Part II Chapter 2: Mayor and Council
Sec. 2-31. Compensation of mayor and members of city council.
The following compensation for services shall be paid to the mayor and members of the city council:
(1) The mayor shall be paid an annual salary of $6,500.00.
(2) Each member of the city council shall be paid an annual salary of $4,500.00.
